We welcome Akshat Mallya and Nikhil Bhardwaj to our group!  Akshat is a PhD student in mechanical engineering and Nikhil is a Masters student in biomedical engineering

Allison is the president-elect of the Society for Cryobiology!  

From the executive director Nicole Evans:  "Allison will become the first female President of the Society for Cryobiology which is notable and to be celebrated. I have no doubt she will serve as an inspiration to many young women cryobiologists to put themselves forward for leadership positions within the Society in years to come."

Our shiny new cryogenic freezer has arrived from MVE expanding our biological material storage as we expand our research!

Welcome Troy and Tessa!

Troy Louwagie and Tessa Burrows have joined our group.  Troy will be working on preservation of drosophila and Tessa will be working on preservation of lung and heart cells.  Welcome Troy and Tessa!
